Its raining its pouring! The down pour on Friday, was horrendous, and it
leaked into the church, everywhere!!
It is so sad that this beautiful church is being
treated like this throught the actions of empty
minded theives.
We as a people of St Edmunds, a people of God will
not give up and will stand firm. St Edmunds will
go back to its former glory, through prayers,
faith and hard work.
Lets get stuck in people!!

Trees
Hello St Edmunds,
Sorry to hear of your problems with the roof of
the church. My wife, myself and our granddaughter
visited your church on Saturday the 24th
expecting to see lots of Dudley folk enjoying
your fayre, to find out we had got the dates
wrong. See you next Saturday.
Can I make a suggestion, although I know it's
going to take a while to get the funds to replace
the roof but to prevent the empty minded yobs
returning, the trees around the church require
pruning.
I'm not the one for wide spread cutting down of
trees but in this case I think it would make the
church more open to passers-by and make St
Edmunds more visual from the Market Place.

Help
Hi there I work at Dudley Castle and am currently
doing research in to the History of the castle, I
was wandering if you could helpi know one or two
of the barons and there kin were buried at St
Edmunds and a few of the Civil war soliders were
buried there too and also Frances Beaumont but do
any of these graves still exist or were they
destroyed when the church was torn down?

St Edmonds is a beautiful church with a wide and
varied history. It has a special place in the
heart of the community. The decicated and
passionate work of saving St Edmonds must not go
recognised for it is the work of God.
